A Story About Me

​

Born in the United Kingdom, I had a happy childhood always with an interest in photography and the great outdoors, growing into an adult I went on to have many jobs including Silk Screen Printing, Civil Engineering, Deep Sea Fishing plus many more, traveling the UK to settle in the North East of England and make my home, Gods Own Country, "That's Yorkshire for those who know."

Mindfulness is very important in my life as is photography, capturing moments in my life that are almost perfect to remind me what is good. Photography helps me every day and is therapeutic in many ways. It has been great to live my life with nature all around me and to grow my love of photography every day.

Inspired by bright colours and my love of the North East of England, my work is driven by a love for nature and the beautiful landscapes, and seascapes it has to offer. Sharing moments of an ever changing environment and the life within that is important to me as sometimes we miss little things that matter with the human eye.

​

My hope is to provoke happy memories, and bring joy and tranquility to others.

Having now made my passion for photography my day job, it made sense for me to design this website and share what i do with the world.

 

I  also exhibit in local gallery's and private establishments and my work which is always progressing is currently available to view at Stewarts Park, Middlesbrough, and Great Ayton, Discovery Center.

 

I am pleased to say over some years my mounted photographs have received a fair amount of interest, and framing is a craft that i thoroughly enjoy, offering a unique, modern twist to the average framing using high quality materials. I have produced many a Gallery Style Mount.
